Chocolate Brownies

Yield: Yields one 8" x 8" pan

Ingredients

1 pouch (404g) Cup4Cup Chocolate Brownie Mix

1⁄2 (112g) Unsalted butter or coconut oil, melted

2 large eggs, room temperature

2 tablespoons (28g) warm water

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly butter or oil an 8” x 8” square pan. Melt butter or coconut oil and set aside to cool.

2. Whisk together eggs, water, and melted butter or coconut oil in a medium mixing bowl.

3. Add the entire pouch of Cup4Cup Chocolate Brownie Mix and stir until smooth.

4. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

5. Let cool before cutting 5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

 

Optional Inclusions

CHOCOLATE CHIPS:
Mix in 1/2 cup (86g) chocolate chips

NUT OR SUN BUTTER:
Swirl in 1/2 cup (125g) softened nut or sun butter

PEPPERMINT:
Mix in 1/4 cup (32g) crushed peppermint candies
